FREQUENTLY_ASKED
What do the grades mean?
A means it looks and runs like new with no notable wear. B has light cosmetic wear but is mechanically perfect. C works fully but shows its age. D works reliably but wears scratches, yellowing, or scuffs. The grade only describes condition, never function; everything on the shelf has passed the bench test.
What does the 2-year warranty actually cover?
It covers the work we did: the recapped boards, replaced lasers, batteries, and any part we list as restored. If one of those fails within two years, you ship it back and we repair it at no cost. Accidental drops and liquid damage aren’t covered, but a recap that didn’t hold is on us.
Why are there photos of the inside?
Because "tested, works" tells you nothing about how long it’ll keep working. The internal photo shows the new capacitors, cleaned contacts, and any repair we made, so you know exactly what you’re paying for before you commit.
Can I reserve a console before I’m sure?
Yes. Sending an inquiry puts a 48-hour hold on that exact unit while we answer your questions and share more photos. No deposit until you decide.
Do you ship, or is it pickup only?
Both. We ship within the EU in custom foam-cut boxes, or you can collect from the Hamburg workbench by appointment. You choose on the inquiry form.
Can you restore a console I already own?
Sometimes. We take on recaps and laser swaps for the same models we sell when the bench has room. Send an inquiry describing the unit and the fault and we’ll tell you honestly if it’s worth it.
